Every month I try (note the word try) to send an email newsletter to my database of subscribers, containing hopefully what I regard as useful, pertinent, computer or publishing information. I also include a what's new section and very occasionally a gratuitous and blatant attempt at self-promotion.

The newsletter seems reasonable, judging by the fact that most people stick with it, but you may find a certain political incorrectness here and there, so if you are offended at my calling "food science and technology" - cooking, or occasionally suggesting that our esteemed leaders are a bunch of self-serving prats then you may like to think twice.

On the other hand I usually also offer a free eBook with my monthly missives. This is not some free rubbish I've downloaded, but something I've paid good money for, including the rights to send it to you. It's the least I can do.
