Phil has been on the home business scene since before the World Wide Web was invented. Born in 1951 his first job was as a shipping clerk before founding a shipping company in 1980 that continues to this day.

Using Direct Mail he set up a part-time business called Millennium Publications (now PhilDee Intl) offering hobby and special interest books such as The Secret of Clay Pigeon Shooting and How to Buy a Used Car. His first course on how to become a salesman was so expensive to print that he was forced to sell the rights to someone else. This was before the world-wide-web and before quality computer printers. Phil currently has amassed retail book sales of over 3 Million. 

Although an acknowledged expert on Direct Mail, he is also a recognized authority on internet publishing. Quite often Phil's internet-based books are published under pseudonyms, allowing him privacy and also "lack of attention" from hackers and internet vandals who delight in targeting successful web-entrepreneurs with viruses and "denial of service" attacks. In a word, everything. 

I've spoken to thousands of people over the years who all wanted to start home businesses and I've been in the position myself many times - with each new venture I start, in fact - this one included. Like you, I have been annoyed at what wasn't offered by other sites and organizations.

For example, some newsletters are just blatant advertising or the writer flogging his latest gizmo. So we've set up RenegadeLemming.Com on the assumption that the only income we want is nothing, not even back end sales. It's a backup website that will provide you with HELP - a silent partner to your business. We can bring you not just our thoughts but many new ideas and concepts, any one of which can make you money.  

Some sites are all about self-improvement, self-motivation and goal-setting but leave you high and dry about how this links in to your home business. You're all revved up but with nowhere to go. Other sites are all business and products and resources but with no structure - you don't know where to start clicking. We will combine self-improvement with a great business site that has structure. You'll know where to click and what to do from day one, including the right mindset.

We've got a forum. In fact we have several!. They're not for shouting your mouth off, they're for sharing ideas and encouragement. There's also an on-line question and answer forum where we can answer technical questions so that everyone can see the answer.

There's a forum regarding other sites or opportunities. This is where you can vote for good sites and bad sites and there is a detailed search facility you can use to collect all the comments on any particular name or company. We will not intervene in disputes, but it's a start and the point is it's not influenced by our personal opinion - it's your personal opinion, and those of your fellow subscribers.

This resource website really has been designed so that, to quote someone else's phrase, 'you'd be nuts not to join.'

Credibility

We take our credibility as a company extremely seriously. The business started full time just after Phil lost over fifteen grand on a so-called business opportunity and his company has grown to the point where thousands of satisfied customers still remain on his database, sometimes years after purchasing one of his products. He has an extremely dim view of scams and scamsters and has helped many many people over the years with private advice. He is held in high regard by anyone who knows him and has spoken to him.

1. Credit Card Credibility

PhilDee has a full merchant account facility with both WorldPay and directly with our Bank, and has kept the same bank account open since the early 90s. And we mean a full merchant account.

When you see a company with such a full merchant account it means that both WorldPay and the bank regard the company as extremely low risk and one that handles disputes fairly and extremely quickly. A full merchant account puts YOU, the customer in complete control of any transaction. Should you feel we have mistreated you or misrepresented our products, or feel a refund is overdue, as a last resort you can simply apply to your credit card supplier and if the problem isn't resolved quickly, you will get an immediate refund direct from the credit card supplier, who in turn will debit us whether we like it or not. This is known as a chargeback.

In the last 15 years we have had ONE chargeback, and that was from someone using a stolen credit card in Malaysia.

This is a very good tip for you. A reputable company will always have a full merchant account facility, so if you see a WorldPay logo like this:

you can be assured that YOU always have the controlling hand. A full merchant account is a very good reference in itself. Most scam merchants will give you many reasons why they don't have such a facility. It's because they can't get one.

2. Internet Credibility

If you have any doubts about any person or business - go to Google and type that person's name, or company into it. Bad news travels fast. We constantly search the Internet under "phil gosling" or "phil gosling book" and invite you to do so and form your own opinion. You will see many, many websites also offering Phil's work together with some of the seminars he has been invited to speak at. If you see anything at all you are concerned about please do email us or call us in complete confidence. Our past history of speaking out against scamsters  hasn't exactly endeared us to everyone and neither has our contrarian attitude towards business mixed well with conservative thinkers. That's probably because it works!

3. Government Credibility

Despite being in business both part time and full time for over 25 years, neither Phil nor his company at the time of writing has ever been approached with a complaint by any Government agency or department, or the ASA.
